WOW! Look at what our SMG grooming machine picked up from recently deep-grooming a field at West Genessee High School in Camillus, NY. Don’t let this happen to your field. Regular groomings are essential to prolonging the life of your field. And, our SMG groomer has a special attachment that will pick up any metal objects that may have worked their way onto your field. Give us a call. We’ll groom your field to like-new condition!

The new Chenango Contracting website is now live! Click here to check it out. We’ve totally redesigned and revamped our website in hopes of making it easier to navigate. The site features more information on our liner and turf product lines, along with photo galleries. We’ve also made the website more interactive, allowing for visitors to do such things as download a current product flyer, download an employment application, or send us a resume – all from within the website. Lastly, and probably most important of all, we’ve added meta descriptions and Google analytics to the site’s coding. This will not only enable us to track all of our website activity, but it will also help Google index it more accurately and thoroughly. Yeah!

All-Conference junior attackman Tyler Prevost from Watertown, NY scored three goals to  help lead the second-ranked Le Moyne College men’s lacrosse team to its 10th Northeast-10 Conference Championship with a 10-7 win over sixth-ranked Merrimack on Sunday afternoon at the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex.

Le Moyne, which improved to 17-0 on the year, earned the North Region bid in the NCAA Championships and will host South Region representative Limestone in the NCAA Semifinals on Saturday, May 19.

We’re especially proud that the Le Moyne lacrosse team clinched their championship on a FieldTurf field installed by Chenango. Way to go Dolphins! Good luck in the big dance!

Chenango recently completed installation of turf at the Fieldhouse at Canaan near Albany. Pete Lopez from the Fieldhouse recently commented on how pleased he was with the process.

“The field is really a special part of the Fieldhouse at Canaan – so much so that it is even in our name. We wanted a field that was high performance and reliable; it would literally be the foundation of many memorable moments for the kids at the Fieldhouse. Working with Chenango and FieldTurf, we made this vision a reality. Their team was great to work with – simple, straightforward, and dedicated. And beyond the initial installation, I feel as though we have a strong partner that will be there for us when we need help in the future.” We love it when our customers are happy.

Hot on the heels of getting the nod to install a new synthetic turf field at Hornell High School, Chenango was recently selected as the contractor of choice by SUNY Geneseo and SUNY Albany. Both schools are upgrading their current sports fields with a state-of-the-art FieldTurf product. We take great pride in being upstate New York’s only distributor and installer of FieldTurf. It’s also exciting to add two new schools to our resume of work!

Chenango recently completed the installation of synthetic turf inside Aspen Health Club in Syracuse. Notice the inclusion of line markers to give the turf that authentic look.

Chenango Sports just finished installing turf at Canaan Field House near Albany. As you can tell by the photo, the new field looks awesome! Big ups to Chay for a job well done!

The Hornell Red Raider football team will soon be playing their home games on a FieldTurf field. Yup, it’s official: The Hornell School District recently chose FieldTurf and Chenango as the field and installer of choice for their athletic field upgrade. It seems only fitting that a winning football team such as Hornell, with back-to-back-to-back New York State Class B Championship titles, would choose the winning combination of FieldTurf and Chenango. All we have to say besides thank you is Go Red Raiders!

The field is set. It’s the New York Football Giants (“G-Men”) against “The Hoodie” and his Patriots team. This year’s Super Bowl is truly a FieldTurf event. Both the Giants and the Pats play on FieldTurf in their home stadiums, and this year’s Super Bowl is held at a venue that also features FieldTurf – Indianapolis. As far as bragging rights are concerned, it would appear that FieldTurf has everyone beat!
