Chenango Contracting recently teamed with KC Construction from Ivyland, PA on the Lycoming landfill project. Scott Minnucci from KC Construction lauded Chenango for their teamwork and productivity. “2011 was a record year for snowfall and rainfall making the large 15-acre landfill cell a challenge to complete. Your team worked long days and many nights in order to protect the finished sub-base and stay on schedule” he commented. “Your crew was organized and performed the work in a professional manner. A mutual feeling of cooperation and teamwork existed between our workers and was appreciated by the landfill owner. We hope this first project together will not be the last and we look forward to the next successful venture”  he added.

Just weeks after the installation of their new FieldTurf field, the Taconic Hills Athletic Director, James Derby, couldn’t wait to express his delight with the new field. Derby remarked “I can’t say enough good things about FieldTurf and Chenango. The crews that worked on our field did an amazing job and they were extremely professional and hard-working. As far as the field goes, well, it speaks for itself. I’ve never felt so confident in being able to use a field for practices, games, and scrimmages. I couldn’t have imagined how much we would use our new field. Even with the snow we received in late October, we were still able to play football, field hockey, and soccer when other schools couldn’t get on their fields. Thank you Chenango! We love our new field!” What can we say? We’re thrilled that James is thrilled!

David Cook, Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics at the Maine-Endwell School District, spoke recently of his satisfaction with the district’s new FieldTurf field. Cook commented “Maine-Endwell CSD is very pleased with the new FieldTurf field. Prior to installing the turf, our grass stadium was used for 10 football games a year. The first year with FieldTurf we hosted 94 contests – football, soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse – as well as other school teams and youth programs (not including practices and physical education classes using it as well). It is nice knowing your facility will be playable no matter what the weather. The FieldTurf field has held up extremely well with all the use, and with very little care. M-E highly recommends FieldTurf and Chenango!” Did we mention that M-E’s football team won the state championships this year? The Spartans football team, Chenango, and FieldTurf are a winning team!
